Blazers sink Generals in overtime

CSB's offense clicked in overtime as the Blazers took their fourth win of the season.
Chalk this one up as another point of improvement for CSB under the reign of TY Tang.
College of St. Benilde showed tremendous poise in the end game to turn back Emilio Aguinaldo College in a battle of also-ran teams, scoring a 94-84 overtime win in the NCAA Season 93 men's basketball tournament at the San Juan Arena Thursday.
Engaged in a tight battle all throughout, the Blazers took a three-point lead late, 78-75, before Sidney Onwubere drilled a diffucult three from the wing with 19 seconds to go to force a tie.
Come overtime, CSB's offense clicked with JJ Domingo serving as the spark, riding the momentum for a 10-point win.
"We never really thought na out na kami, ayaw na namin maglaro," Tang said. "It's not supposed to be that way."
"Each and every day we have to improve. Kailangan magdagdag tayo sa repertoire ng game natin," he added.
Clement Leutcheu powered CSB wih 24 points and 14 rebounds while Edward Dixon also had a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards.
Unique Naboa had another 13 for the now 4-13 Blazers.
Four players scored in double figures for the Generals who dropped to 6-11. Jesse Bautista led the way with 17 points and 14 rebounds while Sidney Onwubere had 15 points and 15 boards.
Francis Munsayac came off the bench for 16 points.
