Game on Friday at the MOA Arena

3:30 PM – JRU vs San Sebastian

Jose Rizal University has come out on top in both of the times it has met San Sebastian College-Recoletos in the NCAA 93 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The Heavy Bombers only hope to keep it up as they wage war against the Golden Stags in a knockout bout on Friday at the MOA Arena.

Third-seed JRU and fourth-seed San Sebastian go at it in the first level of the stepladder playoffs at 3:30 PM. All of the action will be on livestream.

Baste is coming off a morale-boosting win against Colegio de San Juan de Letran last Tuesday. Now, they want nothing more than to come out on top of another elimination game.

Thinking the same thing, however, are the well-rested Heavy Bombers who are confident they have the number of their opponents.

Whoever wins between the two will move on to face defending champion San Beda College in another knockout bout – this time for the right to enter the Finals.

In Juniors action, top-seed and twice-to-beat San Beda Red Cubs start their series against fourth-seed College of St. Benilde-La Salle Greenhills at 11:00 AM while two-seed and twice-to-beat Mapua University Red Robins begin their own battle against three-seed Colegio de San Juan de Letran Squires at 1:00 PM.
