San Beda College returns to action on Monday seeking to move up to a share of the lead against Letran in the 93rd NCAA women’s volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The unbeaten Lady Red Spikers behind the duo of Nieza Viray and Cesca Racraquin are on a four-game winning romp. The Mendiola-based squad looks to join repeat-seeking Arellano University at the top spot when the Lady Red Spikers troop to center court at 12:30 p.m.

San Beda is coming off a 25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-15, win over Mapua University last Friday.

Viray and Racraquin, who are averaging 16.5 and 15.5 points per game, respectively, will spearhead the Lady Red Spikers’ fight against the Lady Knights, who are fresh off a 28-26, 20-25, 26-24, 25-22 victory over Lyceum of the Philippines University last Thursday for a 2-2 win-loss record tied with San Sebastian College and College of St. Benilde.

Meanwhile, CSB and Emilio Aguinaldo College clash at 11:00 a.m.

The Lady Blazers are out to regain their winning ways after absorbing a four-set loss to the Lady Stags the last time out.

The Lady Generals, on the other hand, are still on the hunt for the elusive first win this season. EAC and Mapua are the only remaining winless teams in the tournament, losing all of their previous four games.

In men’s division, defending champion CSB (3-1) and EAC (2-2) meet at 9:30 a.m. while San Beda (3-1) and Letran (0-4) cross paths at 2:00 p.m.

CSB-La Salle Greenhills and EAC open the playdate with their 9:00 a.m. match while San Beda and Letran will cap the day at 3:30 p.m. in the juniors division.
