JRU, Letran clash in crucial Final Four race match

Jose Rizal University face Letran in a match that will decide their fate in the race for the last two Final Four berths.
Games Wednesday:

9:30 a.m. –- EAC vs. LPU (m)
11:00 a.m. –- EAC vs. LPU (w)
12:30 p.m. –- JRU vs. Letran (w)
2:00 p.m. –- JRU vs. Letran (m)
Jose Rizal University and Letran clash in an important match to fuel their respective bids for a Final Four spot on Wednesday in the 93rd NCAA women’s volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Game time is at 12:30 p.m. after the 11:00 a.m. game between also-ran teams Emilio Aguinaldo College and Lyceum of the Philippines University.
The Lady Bombers are tied with idle College of St. Benilde with a 4-3 win-loss record and are coming off a 25-23, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, win over listless Mapua University last Sunday.
A win will push JRU closer to securing at least Final Four spot playoff while a loss will put the Lady Bombers on a dangerous spot in the tight race for the remaining semis berths.
Defending champion Arellano University and San Beda College grabbed the first two Final Four seats with identical 7-1 cards.
The Lady Knights are at seventh spot with a 3-4 slate, another loss will boot them out of the semis race. Letran outlasted the Lady Generals, 25-21, 25-27, 25-19, 20-25, 15-12, Monday.
EAC and LPU are in a two-way tie at eighth to ninth with 1-6 records.
The Lady Pirates dropped their last for matches including a 23-25, 6-25, 14-25, loss to San Sebastian College last Sunday.
