San Beda College sets its eyes on booking a Final Four seat against San Sebastian College which seeks to secure at least a playoff for a semis berth on Tuesday in the 93rd NCAA women’s volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Opening serve of the marquee match is at 11:00 a.m.
The Lady Red Spikers absorbed their first setback in the tournament, losing in straight sets, 17-25, 10-25, 17-25, at the hands of semifinals-bound defending champion Arellano University on Friday.
San Beda is currently at second spot with a 6-1 win-loss record.
But bouncing back from the loss will be a tough challenge for Lady Red Spikers as they will face a team riding the crest of a four-game winning streak.
The Lady Stags after losing suffering back-to-back losses in their first three outings are now on a roll to move at solo third with a 5-2 slate.
Meanwhile, University of Perpetual Help challenge the winless Mapua University at 12:30 p.m.
The Lady Altas sport a 4-2 mark while the Lady Cardinals are listless in seven outings and are on a 16-game skid since last season.
