NCAA: TY Tang preaches patience with young Blazers
Following Tuesday's win against the hapless JRU Heavy Bombers, CSB improved to 2-2 for the season, halfway to matching their total wins last year and already way ahead of their finish from two seasons ago.

It's year 2 of the TY Tang era in St. Benilde and the young coach is preaching patience with his young team as the Blazers go through the NCAA Season 94 men's basketball tournament.

Following Tuesday's win against the hapless JRU Heavy Bombers, CSB improved to 2-2 for the season, halfway to matching their total wins last year and already way ahead of their finish from two seasons ago.

Sitting at .500 midway through the opening round, Tang wants consistency from his boys moving forward.

"It's about consistency," he said.

"Hind pa kami sanay sa grit and grind na game, that's where we really lack as a team. Hopefully, we got those good experiences for us to learn. It's a long season so hopefully we get to correct ourselves every single game," he added.

With CSB's rebuild ongoing, Tang wants to hit goals one at a time.

Patience will be a virtue for the Blazers.

"Right now it's just a game at a time. We don't wanna really look forward to the main goal," he said.

"Right now it's just a step at a time, hopefully, just by focusing on those first steps, we can go to where we want to be in the future," Tang added
