Jalalon comes home to headline NCAA All-Star Side Events
Jiovani Jalalon will be representing Arellano for the first time since graduating two years ago

Jiovani Jalalon will be taking the floor once more in the NCAA.

The now-Magnolia Hotshots star will be representing Arellano University anew in the 2018 NCAA All-Star Skills Challenge.

Jalalon is the designated alumnus for the Chiefs and will be teaming up with Seniors standout Kraniel Villoria and Juniors stud Marlon Espiritu in the side event kicking off the midseason classic scheduled on August 31 at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

As always, the NCAA 94 All-Star Game will be LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

Jalalon and Arellano is the biggest threat to the throne of defending champion University of Perpetual Help which will be comprised of alumnus Gerald Dizon, Jielo Razon from the Seniors, and Yuri Kawamura.

Also challenging them will be Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s trio of alumnus Ronjay Enrile, Jerrick Balanza from the Seniors, and Stacey Tibayan from the Juniors; College of St. Benilde’s alumnus RJ Deles, Jimboy Pasturan from the Seniors, and Francis Lopez from the Juniors;

Emilio Aguinaldo College’s alumnus Bong Melacoton, Maui Cruz from the Seniors, and CJ Boado from the Juniors; Jose Rizal University’s alumnus John Wilson, Agem Miranda from the Seniors, and John Amores from the Juniors; Lyceum of the Philippines University’s alumnus Kevin Lacap, Kim Cinco from the Seniors, and John Barba from the Juniors;

Mapua University’s alumnus Yong Garcia, Exi Biteng from the Seniors, and Clint Escamis from the Juniors; San Beda University’s alumnus Marcelo Pascual, Calvin Oftana from the Seniors, and Penny Estacio from the Juniors; and San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ alumnus Jepoy Quiamco, Ian Valdez from the Seniors, and Milo Janao from the Juniors.

All of the Slam Dunk, Three-Point, and Skills Challenge crowns are up for grabs.

Telecast begins at 1:00 PM with the Skills Challenge, Shooting Stars, Three-Point Shootout, and the Slam Dunk Contest preceding the All-Star Game.
