NCAA: Deja vu as San Beda destroys JRU anew

San Beda has now stamped its class all over JRU in two games in one week
In two games in the span of a week in the NCAA 94 Men’s Basketball Tournament, San Beda University has destroyed Jose Rizal University by 32.5 points.
The Red Lions didn’t get to repeat their 37-point beatdown a week ago, but they still made quick work of the Heavy Bombers to the tune of a 28-point rout, 73-45, on Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
Robert Bolick imposed his will all over with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists and the defending champions were not threatened en route to rising to 9-1.
Last Tuesday, San Beda also demolished JRU by a score of 77-40.
Just continuing their great form from a week ago, Javee Mocon’s triple capped off a 13-0 burst right out of the gates for them in this one.
In the end, Mocon had six points, seven rebounds, and four assists to his name while Jeramer Cabanag and AC Soberano chipped in nine and eight markers, respectively.
As always, Jed Mendoza was the lone bright spot for the Heavy Bombers with 13 points. With back-to-back losses to the defending champions, the now stand at 2-8.
