NCAA: Letran plays first game without Jerrick Balanza
Letran puts its winning streak on the line up against a confident Arellano side

Games on Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre

2:00 PM – Perpetual vs CSB

4:00 PM – Arellano vs Letran

Colegio de San Juan de Letran will now be missing a key cog as Jerrick Balanza is now out of action for the rest of the NCAA 94 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The Knights hope the loss of Balanza could only spur them in their playoff push, with the first obstacle in the second round being Arellano University on Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Letran (6-3) is out to stretch its streak to three in a row even as the Chiefs (4-5) are out to go streaking at 4:00 PM. Of course, all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

In the first round, the Knights muscled through Arellano, 88-70.

Meanwhile, upstarts College of St. Benilde (6-3) and University of Perpetual Help (5-4) wage war once more at 2:00 PM.

And in Juniors action, the CSB-La Salle Greenhills Junior Blazers (8-1) look to answer the challenge from the Perpetual Junior Altas (5-4) at 10:00 AM. There will also be a matchup between the Arellano Braves (4-5) and the Letran Squires (2-7) at 12:00 PM.
