Escamis flies high in NCAA NBTC 24 for third straight week

Clint Escamis still stands where he has stood for the last three weeks of the NCAA NBTC 24
Clint Escamis of the Mapua Red Robins remained in top form as he conquered the Chooks-to-Go /NBTC 24 NCAA edition for the third straight week.
Escamis led the Red Robins to an emphatic 33-point blowout of the San Beda Red Cubs last Friday.
The spitfire shooting guard put up 21 points, five rebounds, three assists, and added three steals in Mapua’s 91-58 statement win.
La Salle Green Hill’s Joel Cagulangan rose back to number two in the rankings after a near triple-double of nine points, 12 rebounds, and 11 dimes in a win over Perpetual.
Rounding out the top five are then teammates of Escamis and Cagulangan.
Inand Fornillos and RC Calimag stand in the third and fifth spots while Jonnel Policarpio rose to fourth after his 10-point, 12-rebound performance against San Beda.
John Amores moved up ten spots to number six with his strong outing of 17 points, six boards, and three assists in JRU Light Bombers’ win over the LPU Junior Pirates.
Mapua’s Dan Arches, LPU’s John Barba, JRU’s John Delos Santos, and CSB’s Joshua David complete this week’s top ten players.

This year, there will be three separate editions of the NBTC 24 – one for the NCAA, one for the UAAP, and one for the CESAFI – to accommodate Juniors calendar for the whole year. After all three editions have been completed, a final list composing the top 24 players nationwide will then be chosen to participate in the annual NBTC All-Star Game in March.
