NCAA: EAC's Jerome Garcia reaches end of college career
-- Jerome Garcia
Jerome Garcia played his last game in the NCAA as an Emilio Aguinaldo College General after two playing years, Friday evening.
Garcia suited up for EAC in Season 93 after being dropped by the Adamson University Falcons in 2016. When he arrived in the NCAA, he proved to be one of the reliable shooting guards for EAC. It's just unfortunate that his college career had to end in a loss versus Jose Rizal University.
Garcia scored seven points against the Heavy Bombers and it proved to be not enough for a good exit he wanted, "Tapos pagdating ng 4th quarter, lamang na kami, nakuhaan pa kami ng lamang.
Nonetheless, he is still very thankful for the experience. After all, EAC took a chance on him and that gave him the opportunity and experience to still play college basketball beside the initial rejections.
With his college career done, Garcia is still not relaxing anytime soon. He expressed his desire to reach the professional ranks.
"Hopefully tuloy-tuloy ako. Break lang siguro ako ng 1-2 weeks tapos balik ensayo ako kasi magbabakasakali ako this coming December sa PBA draft, sana hopefully talaga makuha para sa family," Garcia said who also is a father to son Gavin Sebastian.
