NCAA: LPU figures in first Final Four game against Letran
Letran is just one of three teams to have downed LPU in the elimination round in the last two years

Games on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre

1:30 PM – LPU (twice-to-beat) vs Letran

4:00 PM – San Beda (twice-to-beat) vs Perpetual

Lyceum of the Philippines will be making school history on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Pirates will be playing their first-ever playoff game up against Intramuros neighbor Colegio de San Juan de Letran as the Final Four of the NCAA 94 Men’s Basketball Tournament commences.

LPU (15-3) hopes it doesn’t have to use its twice-to-beat advantage against the determined Knights (13-5) at 1:30 PM. Of course, all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

The two teams split their meetings in the elimination round.

In the other playoff pairing at 4:00 PM, University of Perpetual Help is standing in the way of twice-to-beat San Beda University’s Finals return.

And in the Juniors Final Four, it’s the College of St. Benilde-La Salle Greenhills Junior Blazers (twice-to-beat) versus the Jose Rizal University High School Light Bombers at 10:00 AM and the Mapua High School Red Robins (twice-to-beat) versus the San Beda High School Red Cubs at 8:00 AM.
