4:00 PM – LPU vs San Beda

San Beda University needs just one more win to get another three-peat now in the NCAA 94 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Only, the Red Lions will be facing a Lyceum of the Philippines University at full strength and with full determination on Monday at the MOA Arena.

CJ Perez returns for the Pirates who need a win to extend the best-of-three series to a winner-take-all even as the defending champions remain confident they can finish the job on what-would-be a still league-best 22nd championship.

Game 2 of the Finals tips off at 4:00 PM and of course, all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.

San Beda had a convincing victory in Game 1, 73-60, as all of Robert Bolick, Javee Mocon, and Donald Tankoua were firing on all cylinders and the rest of the team only took advantage of the absence of Perez who was serving a one-game suspension.

Now, though, Perez will be good to go and will be out to come back with a vengeance. LPU has not won a game in the Finals after three tries, but remain upbeat they could finally break through.

In the Juniors Finals, College of St. Benilde-La Salle Greenhills also goes for the jugular against Mapua High School at 2:00 PM.

A win for the Junior Blazers would give them their first-ever back-to-back championships in school history.
