NCAA Season 94: Letran breezes past EAC
Letran swept Emilio Aguinaldo College to open its campaign in the NCAA women's volleyball competition.

Manuela Mariel Larioque made her presence felt as she led the charge for the Letran Lady Knights in a sweet sweep of Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-23, 25-21, 25-16, Monday in the NCAA Season 94 women's volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan. 

Larioque finished with 12 points built on 10 attacks, an ace and one kill block to help the Lady Knights start their campaign on the right foot.

Chamberlaine Cunada and Miracle Mendoza added nine and eight markers, respectively, for Letran, which ended the game in 81 minutes.

The Intramuros-based squad pounded 32 points on attacks and received 35 free points off the Lady Generals' errors.

Jaylene Lumbo was the only EAC player in double figures with 13 markers.
