NCAA Season 94: Lady Chiefs win third straight

Defending two-time champion Arellano University notched its third straight win at the expense of winless Mapua University.
Defending two-time champion Arellano University dominated Mapua University, 25-15, 25-12, 25-13, Monday to remain unscathed and on top of the standings in the NCAA Season 94 women's volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Veteran setter Rhea Ramirez utilized the deep arsenal of the Lady Chiefs to submit the Lady Cardinals in just 62 minutes for a 3-0 win-loss record tied with San Beda University.
Ramirez distributed the ball well to tally 23 excellent sets that helped Arellano U carve 37 attack points.
Eight players scored for the Lady Chiefs with last year's Rookie of the Year Necole Ebuen posting 15 points with 13 coming off kills. Carla Donato had 11 markers while Regine Arocha and Princess Bello combined for 14 points for Arellano U.
Mapua continued its slump with its third straight defeat.
Lorraine Barias had seven points while Jan Morano scored six for the Lady Cardinals, whose last taste of victory was back in 2016.
