NCAA Season 94: Perpetual, CSB clash for win no. 2

University of Perpetual Help battles College of St. Benilde as the Lady Altas try to notch their second straight win.
Title-contenders University of Perpetual Help and College of St. Benilde cross paths Tuesday with both teams looking to score back-to-back wins in the NCAA Season 94 women’s volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Action begins at 12:00 noon and will air via livestream.
Both squads started their season on the wrong foot but were quick to recover for 1-1 win-loss records tied at fourth to sixth place with Letran.
The Lady Altas bounced back mightily from a painful five set loss to San Beda University in their opener with a dominating, 25-15, 25-8, 25-16, win over Emilio Aguinaldo College last Thursday.
The Lady Blazers did the same after a five-set defeat at the hands of defending two-time champion Arellano University, beating the Lady Knights, 25-19, 25-23, 25-22, Friday.
Meanwhile, Letran seeks to get back on the winning track at 2:00 p.m. against winless Jose Rizal University. The duel will also air via livestream.
The Lady Bombers bowed to Arellano University and Lyceum of the Philippines University to start their campaign.
Meanwhile, reigning men’s champion Altas clash with the Blazers in a possible Finals preview at 10:00 a.m.
Perpetual and CSB are the only spotless teams after two games and share the hold of the lead.
JRU (1-1) and Letran (0-2) will meet at 3:30 p.m.
In juniors play, the defending champion Junior Altas (2-0) battle the Junior Blazers (1-1) at 8:00 a.m. while the Light Bombers (0-2) and Squires (1-1) square off at 5:00 p.m.
