San Beda University preserved its unblemished record after snatching its fourth straight win in the NCAA Season 94 women's volleyball competition.
It was not the start San Beda University wanted.
But the Lady Red Spikers found a way to recover from an early setback to preserve their unbeaten slate Thursday in a come-from-behind, 23-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17, win over Emilio Aguinaldo College in the NCAA Season 94 women's volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Trisha Paras feasted on the much smaller Lady Generals to finish with 19 points built on 15 attacks, three kill blocks and an ace for the Mendiola-based squad's fourth win in as many outings.
Nieza Viray pounded all but one of her 13 points on kills while adding 22 digs for an all-round effort for the Lady Red Spikers. Cesca Racraquin and Sattriani Espiritu scored 12 and 11 markers, respectively, for San Beda University.
EAC absorbed its third straight defeat in as many games despite the 25-point effort of Jaylene Lumbo.
Meanwhile, the Generals improved to 2-1 card after shooting down the Red Spikers, 29-27, 25-19, 25-21, in men's play.
San Beda suffered its third loss in four games.
In the juniors division, the Red Cubs beat the Brigadiers, 25-17, 25-16, 25-27, 25-21, for a 3-1 card.
