University of Perpetual Help wrapped its 2018 campaign with a morale-boosting 25-9, 25-13, 25-12, drubbing of Letran Friday in the NCAA Season 94 women's volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Altas will carry a 3-2 win-loss slate heading into the long holiday break before the league resumes action on January 3, 2019.
Blanca Tripoli and Jenny Gaviola scored 10 points each for Perpetual, which won its second straight.
"Ang sabi ko, sana bago matapos ang taon, sana manalo para at least magandang motivation for us for 2019 kasi coming from wins para mataas ang morale at the same time, yung adjustment, medyo mabilis na," said Lady Altas head coach Macky Cariño, whose team will return to action on Jan. 7 against Mapua.
"'Yung past two losses namin against San Beda and St. Benilde, sobrang alam namin kung anong dapat namin gagawin pero hindi namin nae-execute. At least, bago matapos ang 2018, maganda ang naging resulta," he added.
The Lady Knights dropped their fourth straight match after opening the season with a victory.
Jhaymaleene Parin and Chamberlaine Cunada combined for 11 points for Letran.
