San Sebastian College hopes to continue its winning streak to start the new year right.

Fresh off a long holiday break, San Sebastian College steps back inside the court Thursday with its eyes fixed on winning its third straight and climbing up to a share of the second spot in the NCAA Season 94 women’s volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Lady Stags ended 2018 with back-to-back victories and are now looking at adding Jose Rizal University in their list of victims.

Game time is at 12:00 noon and will air via livestream.

SSC-R sits at third to fourth spot tied with College of St. Benilde with 4-1 win-loss record behind second-running San Beda University (5-1) and league-leading grand slam-seeking Arellano University (6-0).

The Lady Bombers hold an even 3-3 slate at sixth spot.

JRU closed the year that was with a dominating straight sets win over winless Emilio Aguinaldo College.

Meanwhile, the Lady Generals face off with another listless squad in Mapua University at 2:00 p.m.

EAC dropped all of its first six games while the Lady Cardinals carry a 0-5 mark.
