NCAA Season 94 volleyball: Lady Chiefs eye first Final Four seat

Defending two-time champion Arellano University sets its sights on claiming the first semifinals ticket.
Grand slam-seeking Arellano University puts its unbeaten record on the line as it shoots for the first Final Four berth on Monday in the NCAA Season 94 women’s volleyball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Chiefs clash with winless Emilio Aguinaldo College at 12:00 noon. The match that will air livestream.
Arellano U parades an unblemished 6-0 win-loss slate and another victory will propel the Lady Chiefs back in the semifinals. Arellano is coming off a quick work of Letran, 25-13, 25-18, 25-15, heading into the long holiday break.
The Lady Chiefs are heavily favored in the duel with the Lady Generals still struggling in form.
EAC is the only remaining team that has yet to taste victory. The Lady Generals absorbed their seventh defeat last Thursday at the hands of Mapua University, which ended a three-year, 23-game losing slump.
The Lady Cardinals, who put an end to their drought with a 25-14, 25-23, 25-14, drubbing of EAC, will gun for a back-to-back against University of Perpetual Help at 2:00 p.m.
The Lady Altas are currently at sixth spot with a 3-2 slate while Mapua holds a 1-5 card.
Perpetual is coming of an almost three-week rest after destroying Letran, 25-9, 25-13, 25-12, last December 14.
