San Beda begins NCAA four-peat bid July 7
San Beda and Arellano go at it to commence NCAA Season 95

As has been NCAA tradition, three-peat champion San Beda University opens its title defense up against Arellano University, the hosts for Season 95.

The Red Lions’ first test as they try for four consecutive championships commences on July 7 at MOA Arena and it will come from the Chiefs who will be welcoming back with open arms floor leader Kent Salado.

Of course, all of the action in the country’s oldest collegiate league will be on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and livestream.

The very first game of the very latest season of the NCAA tips off at 2:00 p.m. with opening ceremonies preceding it.

San Beda’s road to yet another championship is rockier than usual as it will now be led into battle by a couple of young guns in James Canlas and Evan Nelle who will then be flanked by Cameroonian powerhouse Donald Tankoua as well as versatile wings Clint Doliguez and Calvin Oftana.

Arellano’s road back to contention is just as rocky as it is hoping Salado can return to form after a year off due to an ACL injury.

Meanwhile, an early clash of titans takes place at 4:00 PM with high-octane Lyceum of the Philippines University dueling with imposing Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
