Games on Sunday at MOA Arena

2:00 p.m. - Letran vs LPU

4:00 p.m. - San Beda vs Arellano

San Beda University's quest for a four-peat in the NCAA 95 Men's Basketball Tournament will commence opposite a familiar face.

The Red Lions open their title defense on Sunday at MOA Arena against an Arellano University side now coached by Cholo Martin.

Coach Cholo had been an assistant with the red and white for over a decade and will now guide the Chiefs who are looking to pull off a shocker at 4:00 p.m.

The veteran mentor will have a hungry Kent Salado as well as Rence Alcoriza and Archie Concepcion at his disposal against a San Beda outfit now led by second-year studs James Canlas and Evan Nelle, but still also has Clint Doliguez, Calvin Oftana, and Donald Tankoua.

As always, all of the action will be on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD Channel 166, LIGA SkyCable Channel 86, LIGA HD SkyCable Channel 183, iWant and livestream.

Before that, though, there will be an early clash of the titans between Lyceum of the Philippines University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran at 2:00 p.m.

The Pirates and the Knights both lost their dynamic duos in CJ Perez-MJ Ayaay and Bong Quinto-JP Calvo, respectively, but nonetheless remain heavyweights with the maroon and grey now led by the Marcelino twins and the blue and red now led by Jerrick Balanza and Larry Muyang.

The first day of Season 95 of the first and oldest collegiate league in the Philippines will begin with a grand opening ceremony at 12:00 p.m.
