Ilagan-Bulanadi torches Mapua to tow Baste to 2-0 start in NCAA 95

The awesome twosome of RK Ilagan and Allyn Bulanadi was out in full force as San Sebastian scored back-to-back wins to start the season
RK Ilagan caught fire for the second straight game in the NCAA 95 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Allyn Bulanadi came back at full strength, and San Sebastian College-Recoletos charged to adominant victory versus young Mapua University, 92-68, Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Ilagan followed up his red-hot start to the season with 20 points, eight assists, and four rebounds while Bulanadi showed he has completely recovered from a dislocated shooting shoulder with 16 markers, five boards, and two dimes as the Golden Stags made their way into joint first at 2-0.
Those two, by themselves, had 25 points at halftime, already outscoring all of their opponents who only mustered 23.
In all, Baste dropped 46 points in just the first two quarters, building up a lead of as much as 33.
Both the double-digit lead and the momentum would stay with them until the final buzzer.
Noah Lugo had 13 points to show the way for the young Cardinals who suffered a second straight setback to start the season.
