Frankie Lim is not leaving University of Perpetual Help just yet.
In the latest update in what has been a whirlwind last five days in Las Pinas, Lim is back as Altas head coach, overseeing their practice on Wednesday.
"Back in practice. Preparing for our next game," he himself said.
The development was first reported by Randolph Leongson of spin.ph.
Last Saturday, the multi-titled mentor was said to be on leave, according to athletic director Sammy Acaylar.
Acaylar then reiterated his status a day later. "Actually, the (executive) committee, also with top management, decided na on leave muna si Frankie Lim," he told reporters after Perps downed Emilio Aguinaldo College in its first game without its erstwhile head coach.
The athletic director even furthered that coach Frankie was no longer "attached" to the school. "Actually, hindi na kasi yun yung decision ng management kaya 'di na siya attached sa team namin," he said.
Now, however, the fiery tactician looks like he will be continuing with his second season at the coaching chair in Perpetual.
The Altas look to build on their bounce back win last Tuesday when they take on San Sebastian College-Recoletos three days later.
