San Sebastian College-Recoletos has stretched its streak to three wins in a row in the NCAA 95 Men's Basketball Tournament after adding to the misery of Emilio Aguinaldo College, 86-65, Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Golden Stags started strong with nine unanswered points and proceeded to trample the Generals by as much as 18 more than a few times in the third and fourth quarter.
They then wrapped up the dominant decision with the biggest lead of the game also serving as the margin of victory.
In the end, Alvin Capobres was at the forefront of the attack with 20 points and seven rebounds while Allyn Bulanadi and Rommel Calahat chimed in 14 and 12 markers, respectively.
Top gun RK Ilagan then had 11 points, four assists, and three rebounds all while fighting through an ankle sprain as well as cramps.
Still, Baste's other guys came up big as they rang off their third win in a row and fifth overall in eight games.
