San Beda High School stretched its streak to seven in a row in the NCAA 95 Juniors Basketball Tournament as its balance and depth overwhelmed Jose Rizal University High School, 88-68, Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

Rhayyan Amsali topped the scoring column with 16 points on top of five rebounds and three assists and four other teammates were with him in double-digits as the Red Cubs strengthened their stranglehold on the top-seed now at 11-1.

Yukien Andrada and Cyrus Llarena wound up with 11 points apiece and each scored nine markers in the traditional powerhouse's 51-33 domination of the middle periods that turned a four-point deficit after the opening salvo into a 67-53 advantage heading into the final frame.

Tony Ynot also added an all-around 15 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals while Justine Sanchez chimed in 10 markers and seven boards.

While the decision padded San Beda's lead alone atop the leaderboard, it also dragged down the Light Bombers to a tie for fourth-place at 6-6. Raul Gentalan paced them in this one with 20 points as Condrad Famaranco chipped in 15 markers of his own.

Holding the same slate as JRU is Arellano High School which took care of business against University of Perpetual Help, 86-62.

Mark Cuenco posted a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double while Ivan Salinel contributed his own 14 markers to go along with six boards and three assists as the Braves finally arrested a five-game skid.

On the other hand, the Jr. Altas fell back to a 5-6 standing.
