The NCAA 95 Juniors Basketball Tournament will never be forgotten by Lyceum of the Philippines University.

At the same time the Jr. Pirates have made it into their first-ever Final Four, John Barba will also be taking home the MVP trophy to Cavite.

This is the first time in school history that the top individual player comes from the maroon and grey.

Barba made it all happen after putting up per game counts of 20.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for a Player Average Value (PAV) of 48.48.

That placed him second in the MVP race behind Mapua High School's Jonnel Policarpio who had a PAV of 52.00.

Because the Red Robins failed to make the Final Four, however, league rules deemed Policarpio ineligible for the top individual player trophy.

And so, LPU and its 6-foot-2 swingman have kept making history.

Teammate Mac Guadana joins MVP Barba in the Mythical Team alongside Policarpio and San Beda High School's Yukien Andrada and Justine Sanchez.

Meanwhile, College of St. Benilde-La Salle Green Hills double-double machine Jan Manansala is set to be named Rookie of the Year while Andrada is set to be named Most Improved Player.
