Lyceum of the Philippines University is going all-out in making sure it continues its contention.
The Pirates have secured the services of super scorer John Bravo from First City Providential College (FCPC) in Bulacan.
Head coach Topex Robinson himself confirmed the development. "It's always nice to have someone like Bravo," he said.
The 6-foot-2 swingman first opened eyes in the 2019 National Basketball Training Center Nationals where he scored 42 points in FCPC's Super 32 defeat to Durham Crossover-Canada.
He then also saw action in the NBTC Division 2 All-Star Game.
And recently, Bravo had for himself a 54-point masterpiece to lift FCPC over AMA in the winner-take-all Game 3 of the UCSAA Finals.
In the NCAA Srs., he will be a much-welcome addition for a Pirate crew that thrives on the open court, but has a tough time scoring in the halfcourt.
Bravo, alongside fellow recruit and NCAA Jrs. MVP John Barba, will inject new life in Intramuros as it tries to come back stronger following its sorry semifinals exit this season.
