San Beda University is already stocking up on weapons as it sets out to reclaim the crown it had just lost.

The Red Lions are adding promising prospect Tony Ynot to their arsenal of young guns for the NCAA 96 Men's Basketball Tournament. "Sa San Beda pa rin po ako sa Srs.," he said.

Ynot, a 5-foot-11 guard, had spent the last two seasons emerging as a 3-and-D talent for the Red Cubs.

In their championship run in the recently concluded season, he put up per game counts of 12.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals all while totaling the most triples for the red and white with 24.

His signature moment, however, is still the time when he registered a win-sealing block on Jalen Green, one of the most prized prospects in the US NCAA, in the 2019 National Basketball Training Center League National Finals.

Now, the pride of Misamis Occidental will help out Mendiola climb the mountaintop once more.

Ynot joins Jrs. Finals MVP Rhayyan Amsali in the hungry core fronted by Srs. Season MVP Calvin Oftana as well as "Bandana Bros." James Canlas and Evan Nelle.
