NCAA Season 95: San Beda shoots for third win

Cesca Racraquin and the rest of the San Beda University Lady Red Spikers go for their third straight win in a showdown with Letran on Friday in the NCAA Season 95 women’s volleyball competition at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Game time is at 12:00 noon and will air via iWant.
Racraquin, the league’s fifth leading scorer averaging 21.5 points per game, will once again try to lead the Lady Spikers to their third win for a tie at second place with defending three-time champion Arellano University. College of St. Benilde currently holds the solo lead with a perfect 4-0 slate.
San Beda swept San Sebastian College last Wednesday.
The Lady Knights sport a 1-1 win-loss record and are coming off a straight sets loss to CSB.
In the other women’s game, University of Perpetual Help seeks to extend its winning streak to three in a clash with Mapua University at 2:00 p.m.
The Lady Altas hold a 2-1 slate at fourth spot and are fresh from a five-set victory over Lyceum of the Philippines University.
On the other hand, the Lady Cardinals want to spark a winning run of their own after barging in the win column with a four-set decision over Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Meanwhile, the defending two-time champion Altas (3-0) eye the solo lead when Perpetual takes on the Cardinals (0-2) at 3:30 p.m. while the Red Spikers (1-1) and Knights (0-2) meet at 10:00 a.m.
In juniors’ play, San Beda (2-0) and Letran (1-1) clash at 8:30 a.m. while defending five-time champion Perpetual (3-0) collides with Mapua (0-2).
