San Beda University is nothing but glad to be reaping the rewards of its revitalized high school program.

The Red Lions will welcome with open arms Jrs. Mythical Team member Justine Sanchez after he decided to continue donning the red and white for NCAA Season 96.

"Nakikita ko pong dito pa rin sa San Beda gaganda ang future ko," he said. "Nakita ko rin po kung paano magmahal ang San Beda community at napamahal na rin sila sa akin."

The long-limbed forward was a key cog in the Red Cubs' climb back onto the mountaintop and averaged 13.2 points and 7.2 rebounds in their first championship since 2015.

Sanchez doesn't have an elite skill as of yet, but his all-around game coupled with his non-stop effort and energy will be big-time boosts to the bench of the Red Lions.

The 18-year-old, alongside fellow high school standouts Rhayyan Amsali and Tony Ynot, restocks San Beda's coffers that suffered a big blow with the unexpected exit of Evan Nelle as well as the loss of Cameroonian stalwart Donald Tankoua.
