Yukien Andrada has made sure San Beda’s future is secure with all four of its standouts from high school.
The 6-foot-5 big man is the latest Red Cub to turn into a Red Lion as he confirmed his commitment, Monday.
“I love the Bedan community,” he said. “I believe San Beda will continue to make me a better player and person.”
Andrada made the Mythical Team in his last season in the NCAA Jrs. as he posted per game counts of 12.9 points in 60 percent shooting, 8.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
The big-bodied forward’s offensive game is still a work in progress, but he has always had strengths in terms of rebounding and standing his ground on defense.
More than that, his chemistry with fellow commits Rhayyan Amsali, Justine Sanchez, and Tony Ynot will be a big boost to the Red Lions as they try to get back up to the NCAA Srs. Mountaintop.
With the four in the fold, San Beda has gotten its hands on the champion core that won the Red Cubs their first title since 2015.
