College of St. Benilde has welcomed with open arms healthcare workers from the Philippine General Hospital.
A day ago, 60 PGH personnel were taken in by the Taft-based school which then provided them with sleeping quarters, daily meals, and internet access.
This is all part of CSB's Project Safe Shelter which is a response to the continuing COVID-19 crisis.
Not only that, the green and white school also saw to it to give the healthcare workers from 2.5km away a warm welcome.
The Lasallian brothers were right there, holding messages of thanks and support, as the PGH personnel entered the premises.
For those interested to help out, CSB is accepting cash and in-kind donations.
