Team Lakay flyweight star Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio meets former champ Kairat Akhmetov in a five-round main event for the interim ONE flyweight world championship

ONE Championship continues their hot start for 2018, as they bring the cage back to Manila for an exciting night of fights headlined by a flyweight showdown for interim championship gold.

Main eventing ONE: Global Superheroes on Friday, January 26th at the Mall of Asia Arena will be Team Lakay's Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio taking on former ONE flyweight world champion Kairat Akhmetov of Kazakhstan for the interim flyweight world championship.

A rematch of their 2017 encounter that saw some controversy, after Eustaquio landed a clean upkick in the first round, but was deemed illegal by veteran referee Yuji Shimada, giving Akhmetov time to recover.

The former champ went on to win via a razor-thin split decision.

Eustaquio and Akhmetov get to go at it once more, but this time around, it will be a five-rounder for interim championship gold.

In the co-main event, Eustaquio's Team Lakay teammate and ONE strawweight contender Joshua "The Passion" Pacio looks to continue his journey back to title contention as he takes on China's Lan Ming Qiang.

Also on the card, Filipino MMA veteran Eric "The Natural" Kelly takes on Brazil's Rafael "Indio" Nunes in a featherweight bout, while his younger brother Edward "The Ferocious" Kelly of Team Lakay faces Cambodia's Meas Meul, also in a featherweight bout.

In a must-see women's strawweight contest, Team Lakay's April Osenio will look to get back on track when she takes on unbeaten Catalan Fighting Systems Philippines product Jomary "The Zamboanganian Fighter" Torres.

ONE Championship: Global Superheroes happens on Friday, January 26th at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
