Kevin Belingon honored his Ifugao roots during his ring walkout at ONE: Heroes of Honor.
Every now and then, the ONE Championship entrance ramp plays stage to a number of unique entrances.
Thai fighters Shannon Wiratchai and Rika Ishige have made it basically part of their entrances to come out in costumes and have little gimmicks of their own.
During Friday's ONE: Heroes of Honor card in Manila, a Pinoy warrior decided to pay tribute to his roots during his entrance to the cage.
Before taking to the ring and dominating Andrew Leone in their bantamweight main event, Team Lakay's Kevin 'The Silencer' Belingon came out and honored his Ifugao roots as he was joined on the ramp by Ikiangan performers, including Team Lakay teammate and ONE flyweight contender Danny Kingad.
The 29-year old Belingon is a native of Kiangan, Ifugao.
As unique as this is, this isn't the first time that a Team Lakay member paid homage to his roots in his entrance.
Back in 2016, reigning ONE Interim Flyweight World Champion Geje Eustaquio gave a nod to is Igorot roots with a one-of-a-kind entrance as well.
