ONE: Kingad wants Team Lakay to hold both flyweight title

Former ONE Championship world title challenger Danny Kingad of Team Lakay is slowly making his way back to the top of the flyweight division, and a win against talented Chinese contender Ma Hao Bin on Saturday's Pinnacle of Power card at the Studio City Events Center in Macau could definitely vault him back into the title conversation.

The thing is, after Saturday night, Team Lakay could also have a new champion, if Geje Eustaquio defeats Adriano Moraes in their title unification bout.

Eustaquio and Kingad are both contenders in the flyweight division, but they won't be fighting each other any time soon, given that they're teammates.

The 22-year old has already stated that he's willing to serve as gatekeeper to his 'Kuya Geje', should everything go according to plan for Team Lakay.

Regardless of the outcome between Eustaquio and Moraes, Kingad will continue to put the work in.

In fact, Kingad has some sort of dream scenario for Team Lakay and the ONE Championship Flyweight title picture.

Imagine Team Lakay running the show at flyweight?

And while it's not likely that ONE Championship allows an interim title if the champion remains active, it's still an interesting thought to have the top two guys in the division coming from the same team.

If that's the case, is Kingad thinking about moving to another weight division? Not quite.
