WATCH: Kevin Belingon's five-fight winning streak
Kevin Belingon has disposed of three former world title challengers in his current five-fight winning streak.

Team Lakay bantamweight star Kevin 'The Silencer' Belingon has established himself as one of, if not the rightful number one contender to reigning ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes' belt.

Friday night in the main event of ONE: Reign of Kings at the Mall of Asia Arena however, Belingon once again puts his place in front the the line at stake, as he takes on two-division world champion Martin 'The Situ-Asian' Nguyen for the interim ONE Bantamweight World Champion.

A win for Belingon not only gives him the world title that he's long craved for, but it also secures his shot against Fernandes once the champion returns from injury.

Before Belingon and Nguyen go to war however, let's take a look back at The Silencer's impressive five-fight winning streak, wherein he knocked out three former world championsip contenders!

Kevin Belingon versus Muin Gafurov (ONE Championship: State of Warrirors, October 7, 2016)

After coming up short in his first attempt at a world title, Kevin Belingon returned to action with a unanimous decision win over Muin Gafurov in Yangon, Myanmar.

Kevin Belingon versus Toni Tauru (ONE Championship: Kings of Destiny, April 21, 2017)

Looking to pick up steam after a bounce-back win, Belingon took on former world title contender Toni Tauru, who had submitted Belingon's Team Lakay teammate Geje Eustaquio months prior. Belingon delivered some payback by starching Tauru in just one round.

Kevin Belingon versus Reece McLaren (ONE Championship: Quest for Greatness, August 18, 2017)

Initially thought as a bantamweight title-eliminator bout, Reece McLaren posed an interesting challenge for Belingon, as the Fil-Australian had pushed reigning champion Bibiano Fernandes to the brink in their title fight in Manila back in late 2016. Belingon showed that he was a legitimate contender after blasting McLaren in just 62 seconds.

Kevin Belingon versus Kevin Chung (ONE Championship: Legends of the World, November 10, 2017)

Kevin Belingon returned to Manila with an impressive three-fight winning streak and already, many believed he was right in the mix for the bantamweight crown. Against grappling ace Kevin Chung, Belingon showcased his improved ground fighting en route to a unanimous decision win.

Kevin Belingon versus Andrew Leone (ONE Championship: Heroes of Honor, April 20, 2018)

At this point, even ONE Championship founder and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong agreed that Kevin Belingon was the rightful number one bantamweight contender. If there was any doubt about it, Belingon destroyed all of that with a now-legendary spinning back kick to Leone's body.
