Team Lakay gives back to the victims of Typhoon Ompong

La Trinidad, Benguet-based MMA stable Team Lakay joined in on the relief efforts as they helped give back to the victims of Typhooon Ompong.

The Cordilleras were one of the hardest hit by Ompong, which made landfall in September, which left around 78 people dead and even more affected, especially in the municipality of Itogon. 

Team Lakay stars including former ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard Folayang, reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje Eustaquio, reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua Pacio, reigning ONE Interim Bantamweight World Champion Kevin Belingon, Danny Kingad, and head coach Mark Sangiao were all in attendance, as the team dropped off relief goods at the Philippine Red Cross. 

Pacio and Kingad, who both had fights a week after the destructive typhoon, dedicated their victories to their brothers and sisters in the Cordilleras who are still in need of assistance.
