ONE: Heart of the Lion's main event between reigning ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes and reigning ONE Interim World Champion Kevin Belingon is defnitely a must-see matchup.

Not only is this a highly-anticipated rematch, but it's also a title-unification match to see who gets to be called the king of ONE Championship's bantamweight division.

Since their first meeting back in 2016, where Fernandes made quick work of Belingon with a first round subimssion win, the Team Lakay star has been on a tear, winning six consecutive fights against a number of top contenders.

Many have said that Belingon's improvements have been quite evident, and one of those is the undisputed champion himself.

"I watched Kevin in his last couple of fights, I watched his fight with Martin [Nguyen], it was a good fight, and I’ve seen what he’s improved," Fernandes said during the pre-event press conference, Wednesday afternoon in Singapore.

Still, Fernandes believes come fight night, he knows what to expect from the reigning interim champion.

"He improved some things a little bit, I saw the improvements he did, but he’s still Kevin, he still throws the right hand, he throws that kick he has."

For his part, since their first encounter, Fernandes has remained as dominant as ever, defending the ONE Bantamweight crown three more times.

While taking care of his own business inside the cage, Fernandes admitted that he's been monitoring Belingon's progress as well, in the event that they do cross paths once again.

"I’m very focused and I’m very confident for this fight. I’ve fought Kevin [before], I’ve been waiting for him, I’ve been watching his last fight, his last three, four fights."

Fernandes is confident that regardless of the improvements that Belingon has made, he will find a way to come out on top once again.

"He’s [gotten] adjustments, but I can see the adjustments that he made, and I will pass through those adjustments," he concluded.
