ONE World Champions To Be Feted With PH's Best in PSA Annual Awards

The best Filipino mixed martial artists are set to be given citations at the annual Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Awards Night on Tuesday, 26 February.
ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard "Landslide" Folayang, ONE Bantamweight World Champion Kevin "The Silencer" Belingon and ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon "The Truth" Vera will be given citations by the country's oldest media organization.
Former World Champions Joshua "The Passion" Pacio and Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio will likewise be given citations after a splendid 2018.
"It's an honor definitely," Folayang said.
"It's always a blessing to be in this position and be recognized for what we do. We hope that through this, we will continue to inspire others."
This will be the most number of athletes from ONE Championship to be awarded by the PSA in the annual festivities, which highlights the best athletes in the Philippines.
Folayang was a major awardee back in 2017, while Vera will be receiving his second citation from the sports fraternity.
They will be joined by the likes of WBO mini flyweight champion Vic Saludar and Manny Pacquiao's trainer Buboy Fernandez.
Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, skateboarder Margielyn Didal, and golfers Yuka Saso, Bianca Pagdanganan, and Lois Kaye Go, all gold medal winners at the 2018 Asian Games will be awarded with the coveted Athlete of the Year honors.
