Belingon doesn't want to leave any doubts vs. Fernandes
- Kevin Belingon

The prevalent story leading up to Kevin Belingon's trilogy bout against Bibiano Fernandes is that the Brazilian star is coming in angry and motivated to regain his title.

Belingon and Fernandes will meet again for the ONE Bantamweight World Championship at ONE: A New Era on Sunday, March 31st in Tokyo, Japan.

During their rematch back in November of 2018, Belingon became the first man to defeat Fernandes under the ONE Championship banner, scoring a close Split Decision win over the long-time champion and dethroning him as the king of the bantamweights.

Fernandes, of course, wasn't happy with the decision.

This time around, Belingon is looking to erase all doubts, and to do that, he says he will need to win in convincing fashion.

Aside from silencing all doubters, Belingon also sees a dominant stoppage win as a way to avoid having to leave the fight in the hands of the judges, especially since that didn't pan out too well for Belingon's Team Lakay teammates in Joshua Pacio and Geje Eustaquio earlier this year.

Both Pacio and Eustaquio lost their world titles after being on the losing end of some rather controversial decisions.
