Coming off the heels of ONE Championship's biggest event ever, the Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion will be putting on yet another stacked card when they make their Singapore debut for 2019.
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced ONE: Enter The Dragon set for May 17th in Singapore, headlined by newly-crowned ONE Lightweight World Champion Shinya "Tobikan Judan" Aoki of Japan defending his title against Singapore's Christian "The Warrior" Lee.
Aoki is coming off a dominant performance at ONE: A New Era in Tokyo, Japan, wherein he submitted Eduard Folayang to regain the ONE Lightweight World Championship.
Lee, meanwhile, is a top-ranked featherweight contender riding a two-fight winning streak. Lee will be making the move up to lightweight to challenge Aoki for the title.
Just days after the debuts of Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez, Sityodtong also announced the ONE Championship debut of former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight star "Super" Sage Northcutt, who faces Brazilian striker Cosmo Alexandre in a mixed martial arts bout.
Also on the card, will be the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Semifinal bout between Turkish knockout artist Saygid Guseny "Dagi" Arslanaliev and Costa Rican submission specialist Ariel "Tarzan" Sexton.
Plus, eight of the world 's best strikers will take center stage for the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix, featuring Giorgio Petrosyan, Yodsanklai Fairtex, Samy Sana, Jo Nattawut, Dzhabar Askervo, Andy Souwer, Enriko Kehl, and Petchmorrakot Petchyindee Academy
