All-striking card in place for ONE's first event in Vietnam
ONE Championship heads to Vietnam for the first time with ONE: Immortal Triumph

Asia-based martial arts promotion ONE Championship continues to expand their reach as they set up shop for the first time in Vietnam with ONE: Immortal Triumph on Friday, September 6th at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh.

ONE’s first-ever event in Vietnam will also be the first-ever all-ONE Super Series card, headlined by Muay Thai legend and reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao of Thailand putting his title on the line against French up-and-comer Brice Delval.

A highly-decorated striker with two national championships, four Lumpinee Stadium World Championships and a Rajadamnern Stadium World Championship under his belt, Nong-O is widely regarded as one of the best Muay Thai practitioners in the world and he was able to translate that success into a stellar ONE career.

Nong-O blasted into the ONE Super Series with two straight wins before capturing the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship with a decision win against Han Zi Hao in early 2019. Now, the 32-year old is coming off his first successful title defense against Japan’s Hiroaki Suzuki.

Stepping up to challenge Nong-O will be up-and-coming challenger Brice Delval, who is making his ONE debut with a solid resumé of his own, including a run as an S1 World Champion.

Also on the card is Thanonchai SomawangGaiyang of Thailand who takes on WBC Muay Thai International Champion Kohei “Momotaro” Kodera of Japan in a Muay Thai contest, while Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium Champion Panpayak Jitmuangnon of Thailand takes on RISE Featherweight Champion Masahide “Crazy Rabbit” Kudo of Japan in a kickboxing contest.

Vietnamese-British athlete Michael Pham and the United Kingdom's Amber Kitchen are set to see action as they face Mohamad Fakri Bin Yusoff of Malaysia and Viktoria Lipianska of Slovakia respectively in a pair of Muay Thai bouts.

Vietnamese martial arts athletes will of course be well-represented in ONE Championship’s inaugural event in the country.

Set to see action are Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat and Nguyen Thanh Tung, who will take on Azwan Che Wil and Shahzaib Rindh respectively, in Vietnamese Super Series bouts.
