LIVE UPDATES - ONE: CENTURY Part II
Brandon Vera challenges Aung La N Sang and Kevin Belingon challenges Bibiano Fernandes in the second half of ONE Championship's historic 100th event, ONE: CENTURY.

ONE Championship heads back to The Land of the Rising Sun for their historic 100th event, ONE: CENTURY, emanating live from the historic Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan this Sunday, October 13th. 

It will be a full day of exciting martial arts action from the world's biggest martial arts promotion, as ONE: CENTURY will feature two full-scale fight cards on the same day!

Part II, which begins at 4:00 PM, Manila time, will be headlined by our very own ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon "The Truth" Vera looking to realize his dream of becoming a two-division world champion by challenging Myanmar's Aung La N Sang fo the ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship. 

In the co-main event, our very own bantamweight hero and former champion Kevin Belingon of Team Lakay will try to reclaim gold by challenging Brazilian legend Bibiano Fernandes for the ONE Bantamweight World Championship. 

Plus, the first-ever Filipino ONE world champmion Honorio Banario returns to the cage against a Japanese legend in Shinya Aoki!

MAIN CARD

Aung La N Sang (c) vs. Brandon Vera (ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship)

Aung La and Brandon go at it from the opening bell, trading punches, kicks and elbows in the first round. The two go toe-to-toe until the end of the round. Vera sees Round 2 for the first time in his ONE career. 

Aung La rocks Vera midway into the 2nd round and swarms on him. Vera not defending. Aung La finishes the job. TKO finish for The Burmese Python. - Aung La N Sang defeats Brandon Vera via TKO (Strikes) at 3:23 of the 2nd Round to retain the ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship

 

Honorio Banario vs. Shinya Aoki (Lightweight MMA)

Aoki wastes no time in trying to take the fight to the ground. Banario puts up a bit of a fight but ultimately gets taken down. Aoki quickly locks in a D'Arce choke and gets the tap. Just like that. - Shinya Aoki defeats Honorio Banario via Submission (D'Arce Choke) in 54 seconds. 

 

Bibiano Fernandes vs. Kevin Belingon (ONE Bantamweight World Championship)

Belingon opens with some leg kicks but gets taken down early. Fernandes threatens with an arm triangle, but Belingon escapes. 

Another early takedown for Fernandes in the 2nd round ultimately leads to the champion taking Belinngon's back and locking in the rear naked choke. - Bibiano Fernandes defeats Kevin Belingon via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 2:16 of the 2nd round to retain the ONE Bantamweight World Championship

 

Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Walter Goncalves (ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship)

Rodtang and Goncalves go the distance in an entertaining 5-round affair. - Rodtang Jitmuangnon defeats Walter Goncalves via Split Decision to retain the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship

 

Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Samy Sana (ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Finals)

Giorgio Petrosyan adds another title to his already-impressive collection, not to mention a million dollars as he outlasts Samy Sana. Petrosyan used his pin-point striking to get the better of the taller Sana, who pushed the kickboxing legend to the absolute limit. - Giorgio Petrosyan defeats Samy Sana by Unanimous Decision to become the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion

 

Mauro Cerrilli vs. Arjan Bhullar (Heavyweight MMA)

The battle of the big boys goes the distance, as Arjan Bhullar turns in an impressive debut, picking Mauro Cerrilli apart on the feet. - Arjan Bhullar defeats Mauro Cerilli by Unanimous Decision 

 

PRELIMINARY CARD

Mei Yamaguchi vs. Jenny Huang (Women's Atomweight MMA)

Japan's own Mei Yamaguchi once again showed why she is one of the top contenders in the women's atomweight division with another big win over Chinese-Taipei's Jenny Huang in a rematch of their 2017 meeting. Yamaguchi made use of her elite grappling to ground Yamaguchi en route to a decision win. - Mei Yamaguchi defeats Jenny Huang by Unanimous Decision 

 

Yosuke Saruta vs. Daichi Kitakata (Shooto vs. Pancrase Strawweight MMA)

Former ONE Strawweight World Champion and reigning Shooto Strawweight Champion Yosuke Saruta scored an improbable knockout from inside Pancrase Strawweight Champion Daichi Kitakata's guard to pull things even at 2-2 between Shooto and Pancrase. - Yosuke Saruta defeats Daichi Kitakata via KO (Punch) at 0:59 of Round 2

 

Shoko Sato vs. Rafael Silva (Shooto vs. Pancrase Bantamweight MMA)

Shooto Bantamweight Champion Shoko Sato scored one for the promotion he represents, taking out Pancrase Bantamweight Champion Rafael Silva with a storm of punches and knees. - Shoko Sato defeats Rafael Silva via TKO (Strikes) at 4:30 of the second round. 

 

Hernani Perpetuo vs. Hiroyuki Tetsuka (Shooto vs. Pancrase Welterweight MMA)

Intense back and forth battle between Perpetuo and Hiroyuki Tetsuka, but after three rounds, Pancrase goes up 2-0. - Hiroyuki Tetsuka defeats Hernani Perpetuo via Unanimous Decision 

 

Koshi Matsumoto vs. Takasuke Kuma (Shooto vs. Pancrase Lightweight MMA)

Pancrase Lightweight Champion Takakuse Kuma put his home brand on the board in the first of four inter-promotional matches between Pancrase and Shooto with a unanimous decision win over Shooto Lightweight Champions Koshi Matsumoto. - Takakuse Kuma defeats Koshi Matsumoto by Unanimous Decision
