Vera, who dropped down to light heavyweight, came out aggressive, as he landed solid leg kicks on the smaller Aung La. The MMA hero of Myanmar was more than willing to oblige, as he stood toe-to-toe with Vera, landing solid shots of his own.
The two hard-hitting stars went back-and-forth until the end of the opening round.
In the second frame, Aung La begin to push the pace as he started to connect on Vera, until a succession of elbows had the reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion on jelly legs.
Sensing that Vera was in trouble, Aung La swarmed Vera, landing big punch after big punch until the "The Truth" crumbled to his knees. There, Aung La finished the job with piston-like left hands, prompting the referee to step in an stop the bout.
