Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio has zero qualms about taking on decorated grappler Toni "Dynamite" Tauru one more time.

The rematch between the two takes place at ONE: MASTERS OF FATE on 8 November when ONE Championship returns to the Philippines at the Mall Of Asia Arena.

Tauru submitted Eustaquio in their initial meeting with a rear-naked choke in the first round at ONE: AGE OF DOMINATION in December 2016.

This time, Eustaquio believes he has the upper hand, especially since he is eager to bounce back from a first-round knockout loss to  Yuya "Little Piranha" Wakamatsu at ONE: DAWN OF HEROES in August.

“I think the competition favors me more because back in 2016, we competed in the bantamweight division, this time we’re in the flyweight division,” Eustaquio said.

“Based on what I’ve been seeing, he has struggled in this division. He might be too big that’s why his strength suffers.”

Since his loss to Taura, the Team Lakay representative worked on his ground game religiously, which paid dividends against Kairat "The Kazakh" Akhmetov and Adriano "Mikinho" Moraes and helped him claim the ONE Flyweight World Title.

Granted he has rolled with the best and conquered them, he thinks nothing will surprise him anymore against Tauru.

“Most of my competitions in ONE are grapplers. For example, I’ve faced Adriano Moraes three times and he’s a well known grappler,” Eustaquio said.

“Kairat Akhmetov is a wrestler as well. That is why I’m used to this type of competition where I expect them to take me down and try to impose their jiu-jitsu skills.”

Though he is itching to regain the belt he lost to Moraes early this year, Eustaquio is not putting a lot of pressure on himself to get there.

For now, “Gravity” is focused on getting back to winning ways and letting the rest follow.

“I look at the flyweight division positively. The nice thing about our division is that we all have skills, and that is why moving up in the rankings is faster,” Eustaquio said.

“Let’s say I win against a top caliber fighter, there will always be an opportunity to get that title back. If I prove to ONE that I deserve it, I know they’ll give it to me.
