Moraes, the reigning titleholder, is on this third-reign as ONE Flyweight World Champion and has notable victories over Danny Kingad and former champions Geje Eustaquio and Kairat Akhmetov. The Brazilian holds a 9-3 record in his ONE career. He reclaimed the title with unanimous decision win over Eustaquio back in January of 2019.
Johnson, meanwhile, put together an impressive run in 2019, scoring wins over Yuya Wakamatsu, Tatsumitsu Wada, and Kingad en route to the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix Championship. The dominant run in the flyweight tournament earned Johnson a shot at the ONE Flyweight World Championship. The American is considered as one of the best flyweight fighters in the world following his lengthy reign as the UFC Flyweight Champion, and is now looking to add the ONE title to his collection.
