Beau Belga and 11 other big men in the PBA All-Star Obstacle challenge? That should be fun.
Chris Newsome has some competition in the 2018 PBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Leading the list of challengers is veteran forward Gabe Norwood, a sort of surprise entrant in the yearly event.
Also in the dunk contest set for later this month in Batangas City are San Miguel's Matt Rosser and former champion Rey Guevarra.
Marion Magat, Renz Palma, Jackson Corpuz, and rookie Lervin Flores are also in the mix.
The Slam Dunk contest is one of the three skills events that will highlight the main leg of this year's All-Star festivities.
In the Obstacle Challenge, a new champion will be crowned as big men Sonny Thoss, Raymond Aguilar, JP Erram, Kelly Nabong, Russel Escoto, Ken Bono, Asi Taulava, Doug Kramer, Aldrech Ramos, Beau Belga, Yancy De Ocampo, and Yousef Taha are all set to compete.
In the three-point shootout, Allein Maliksi will defend his title against JV Casio, LA Tenorio, Stanley Pringle, Ronald Tubid, Garvo Lanete, Larry Fonacier, Matthew Wright, Paul Lee, James Yap, Marcio Lassiter, and Terrence Romeo.
All three events will be on May 25 in Batangas City.
