PBA: Standhardinger set to make Beermen debut
San Miguel's upgraded superteam will debut Wednesday as the defending champion Beermen, with no. 1 pick Christian Standhardinger in active duty, take on Meralco in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

The moment we've been waiting for is finally here.

San Miguel's upgraded superteam will debut Wednesday as the defending champion Beermen, with no. 1 pick Christian Standhardinger in active duty, take on Meralco in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Tip off will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the MOA Arena.

Following a stint in the ABL, the controversial top pick of the 2017 Draft plays his first PBA game ever and how Standhardinger will mesh with the current San Miguel dynasty that also has four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo is certianly worth the hype it's been getting since last year.

The gritty Bolts (2-1) should provide a good first test for the champs.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., undefeated Rain or Shine (3-0) is out to regain solo first as the Elasto Painters go up against Columbian (2-2).
