BINAN, LAGUNA --- The Gin Kings are back.

Finally sporting a relatively healthier lineup, Ginebra picked up its first win of the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup, a 105-91 demolition of Blackwater Friday at the Alonte Sports Arena here.

With top center Greg Slaughter back in the fold, Ginebra wasted little time in asserting its dominance on the Elite, opening up an 18-point lead right in the opening period.

The Gin Kings were aleady up 23 before the first half even ended and Ginebra simply just cruised to its first win in in three games in the mid-season joust.

"Well we went out there with a big lineup. We were not quite sure if it's gonna work for us but it got play well together," head coach Tim Cone said.

"We got great shooting tonight from Kevin which makes a big difference. When you shoot the ball well, it makes the game a lot easier. We like how our big guys play together," he added.

With Kevin Ferrer finding his mark early, Ginebra opened up a 28-10 lead right in the first period.

Blackwater recovered to make it game but the Gin Kings dropped the hammer in the second as Ginebra entered the break with a commanding 64-41 advantage.
